- The Natlan region in Genshin Impact 5.0 is expected to be as big as the Sumeru 3.1 map.
- There are six different tribes in Natlan, all having settlements away from each other and the Scions of the Canopy tribe being the closest to the main Natlan city.
- Leaks also suggest that there are 13-14 decently complex underground caves in the 5.0 Natlan map.
Genshin Impact 5.0 is right around the corner and it will add the new Pyro region Natlan to the game. This means a massive new map with multiple areas to explore and obtain rewards. The Natlan region is expected to be at least as big as Sumeru in version 3.1. Although there are not many official sources about Natlan’s map yet, here is a compilation of all Natlan map leaks, including the location of the Natlan tribes and main cities.
All Tribes in Genshin Impact Natlan Map
Natlan is made up of six different tribes, each having their own customs, rituals, and mechanics. Combining the Genshin Impact 5.0 leaks with all the landscape shots we have received from the Natlan teasers, gives us a good look at what to expect from the Natlan region and the Tribe settlements. These are the six tribes of Natlan:
- Scions of the Canopy: Yumkasaurs, Messengers/Couriers, Hunters, Extreme Sports.
- Children of Echoes: Tepetlisaur Saurian, Cave miners, and Jewelers.
- People of the Spring: Koholasaurus, Vacation spot, Hot Springs.
- Masters of the Night Wind
- Flower-Feather Clan
- Collective of Plenty
Each of the Natlan tribes is expected to live in different areas. Another leak from UTeyvat marks the settlements for the People of the Spring, Scions of the Canopy, and Children of Echoes in the leaked Natlan map. From the leaks, we learn that the Scions of the Canopy tribe is the closest to the main Natlan city.
Genshin Impact Natlan Location and Size
Natlan is expected to be west of the Sumeru desert area in Genshin Impact. However, the Pyro Nation is not connected with the Sumeru desert and is a separate continent. One leak via Daily Natlan, shows how the Natlan map is right next to the Sumeru desert, while not being connected through land. The Natlan region is expected to be as big as the Sumeru 3.1 map and also layered in a similar fashion.
Leaks via UTeyvat, reveal that there are 13 to 14 underground caves in the 5.0 Natlan map, with each cave having 1 to 4 layers. The caves are said to be fairly complex, but not at the level of Sumeru caves. This leak also confirms that Natlan is not connected to Sumeru and is separated by the ocean.
