The second weekly update for the Fortnite Simpsons season has landed, and this one sends waves of Homer clones across the island. Players can also spot the first version of the countdown timer that leads into the season finale. Homer Clones Invade Springfield
Springfield is packed with wandering Homer clones, each one causing small bits of trouble across town. Especially when you are near them, they might end up chasing you. They spawn in set waves and drop light loot when cleared out. Spawn them by destroying the donut pinatas. Expect them to show up in more landmarks as the season moves forward.
Homer’s Makeup Shotgun Weapon Arrives
The Makeup Shotgun is now available as a short-range powerhouse that fits Homer’s chaotic flair. It fires two heavy bursts that reward close-quarters play and has a slow reload to balance the punch. You can find it in chests, floor loot, and special Springfield drops.
Zero Hour Countdown Goes Live
The new timer for the Chapter 6 end has appeared on the island, marking the lead-up to the Zero Hour live event. The countdown is visible from major POIs and updates in real time. Expect map effects and small teasers to appear as the clock gets closer to zero. Once it is over, Chapter 7 of Fortnite will start.
Party Up Winter Rush Quests and Rewards
Winter Rush quests are now active, giving players XP tasks that must be completed with friends in a party. Each milestone unlocks a seasonal cosmetic, ending with the Cuddle Bear skin. The event stays live until November 29, so players have a short but manageable window to finish the run.
New F1 Cars and Racers in Item Shop
The update also added new F1 cars and racers’ cosmetics to Fortnite. This includes the popular Ferrari F40, F1-themed pickaxe, gliders, and more.
Alongside these additions, the map got a slight update with the purple taking over the waters of Springfield. Moreover, new sidekicks and a lot of item shop cosmetics are coming with the shop update.
