How to Open Rare Vaults in Fortnite
You can open any smaller Rare Vault on the map if you have the required Vault Key for it. These are Rare utility items in the Chapter 7 Season 3 loot pool, and players can find them randomly in chests. Since these vaults are extremely small, players can find one Sprite Chest, which can spawn Legendary Sprites like the Punk Sprite, and other standard loot.

- Land on the Shattered Coast map and look for Rare Vault Keys in chests.
- Head to one of the Sprite Vaults marked in blue on the map above.
- Press X/Sqaure on the controller or E on PC to interact with the Vault door.
- Wait for the door to open and enjoy all the rare Fortnite Sprites you might find in the vault.

These keycards can also be found randomly in loot, and they resemble the keycards players used to unlock the Ice King vault in Chapter 7 Season 2. The Epic Vaults provide players with a lot more loot than the Rare Vaults, but there are only 2 Epic Vaults available on the Shattered Coast.
