When is the Fortnite Shattered Live Event?

The Fortnite Shattered live event is officially scheduled for June 5, 2026, at 7 PM ET. Epic Games has already confirmed that the playlist for the event will open 40 minutes early, around 6:20 PM ET, to let players filter in. According to the latest teaser, the Shattered live event will bring all-out war to the Chapter 7 Season 2 island, with the Ice King potentially “shattering” the Island into pieces.

How to Join Fortnite Shattered Live Event

You can join the Shattered live event by loading into the designated playlist when it goes live. Fortnite live events draw in a massive concurrent crowd, which can result in server strain and long login queues. To make sure you don’t get locked out of the event, here are the steps you can follow to join the Shattered live event:

• Launch Fortnite on your preferred platform at least 30-60 minutes before the doors open.
• When the clock strikes 6:20 PM ET, Epic will disable standard Battle Royale, Zero Build, and most other playlists. You need to look for the custom Shattered event tile in the Discover menu.
• Select the Shattered playlist and queue up immediately with a squad or as a solo player.
• You will then load into the event variant of the Chapter 7 Season 2 map, featuring disabled weapons.
• The event script will trigger exactly at 7 PM ET.
