There will also be another Power Hour on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 10 AM ET, allowing players who missed the first Power Hour to attend this unique event. While the gameplay changes will be the exact same on Sunday, it takes place earlier in the morning for Western players, which usually leads to less sweaty lobbies during matches. Fortnite Power Hour (February 21 & February 22) Gameplay Changes

The real meat of the Power Hour lies in the small yet significant gameplay changes made by Epic to spice up the usual Battle Royale loop. According to the official Epic Games blog post, this weekend’s Fortnite Power Hours will feature the following changes:
- Every player will start out with a Legendary Arc-Lightning Gun.
- Every player will start with a Self-Revive Device, allowing them to get back into the fight after getting eliminated.
- 2 random Legendary POIs, featuring an increased number of Rare Chests.
- Rectangle-shaped storm
All of these new gameplay changes, especially the Rectangle-shaped storm and the Fortnite Self-Revive Device, will definitely make for some chaotic encounters in the Fortnite Power Hour.
