Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Map Changes
Fortnite seasonal updates do not change a lot of things on the map. So, it is obvious that the Chapter 6 Season 2 map layout is still the same with some changes across. Although not many locations have changed, the major landmarks added will now upgrade the significance of Fortnite through crime-infested mayhem. Feel The Rush in Fortnite C6S2 New Mission
The whole Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 map now has gold-infused water. So, everyone would love to get hooked on the Gold Rush – swing that pickaxe like a maniac, demolish structures, and feel the speed surge. Mine those Gold Veins for Bars, but remember, Big Dill’s rolling in dough, his Dill Bits crypto skyrocketing higher than a heist getaway.
Snatch those Dill Bits from vaults and spend them fast before they vanish like a ghost. Hit up the Black Markets – hook the Mythic and Legendary loot (totally legit, wink wink) and grab some Boons to make your next score a guaranteed win. Just don’t get caught.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 New Weapons and Mods
As season 2 revolves around the heist and looting, you will need some helping hands to break the bank. Well, Thermite joins as your vault-busting weapon for starters. In future update v34.10, we will also get the Plasma Burst Laser and Rocket Drill. More ways to destroy the vaults!
But is the current weapon pool enough to pull out a heist and victory royale? Well, the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 adds new weapons such as Collateral Damage Assault Rifle and Falcon Eye Sniper. And with the next minor update, we will also get the Outlaw Shotgun and Big Dill’s fave combo, the dual-wield Pump & Dump. But that is not all.
The Kneecapper is here to whack the enemies while you also gain some sprint speed and jump height boost. And if you pick up Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit, you will have the power of ice. Yes, Sub-Zero ice gauntlets are a mythic loot for you to frost your enemies.
Defense Is The Best Attack?
New utility items like the Port-A-Cover and Pulse Scanner will aid your heists by providing cover and enemy detection. These tools are invaluable for fending off henchmen while you gather your fortune in Bars. When your heist is interrupted, the Med-Mist Grenade offers quick healing. For a boost and some extra defense, the Gold Splash grants a Gold Rush and either heals or shields you up to 20 points (shield only when HP is full).
Boons! More Boons
The introduction of Chapter 6 added the boons in Fortnite. And with Season 2, we are getting more. This season’s Boons, found exclusively in Black Markets or Rare Chests, offer a persistent advantage, surviving even eliminations within the same match. Here is the list of all five new boons available in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 patch notes:
- Vulture Boon: Reveal where enemies are eliminated on the map for a short time.
- Gold Rush Boon: Opening or destroying Chests grants Gold Rush.
- Adrenaline Rush Boon: Gain the Slap effect (short-term unlimited Energy regen) upon mantling, hurdling, and wall jumping.
- Gold Ammo Boon: Gain ammo when picking up Bars.
- Greed Boon: Find extra Bars from eliminations and opening containers.
Fortnite C6S2 Bosses and Medallions
While Shogun X still exists as the game’s big boss, a new one appears with the new Fortnite season. However, you will now get the Super Shield Medallion after defeating Shogun X. This will act as a Shield Bubble whenever you use Med Kit or Shield Potion. But what about the new Fortnite boss? Enters Fletcher Kane!
The whole Fortnite map is infested with Kane’s mobs. He will appear mostly while you are completing a heist. When you defeat the new boss Fletcher Kane in Fortnite, you will get Mythic Fletcher Kane’s Double Down Pistol and the Unstoppable Medallion. This medallion will increase your sprint speed and let you bash enemies while you sprint.
Lawless Brings More Heat With New Vehicles
Fletcher Kane’s eyes are everywhere when gold changes hands in this town. So, it is obvious that transportation in the new Fortnite season must be a lot more advanced. His Armored Transports Convoy, loaded with valuables, patrols the map, ripe for the taking. Be warned: his henchmen are no pushovers; expect a firefight if you try to hijack a convoy. But if you manage to commandeer the vehicle, it’s yours to drive.
For a bigger score, target Fletcher’s armored train—the town’s most perilous heist. Blast through its defenses, breach the vault with Thermite, and a rich reward awaits. However, this high-profile “transaction” won’t go unnoticed; prepare for rival players looking to muscle in on your score. So, lock and load, and may the best bandit prevail.
Fortnite Lawless Battle Pass
Suit up for a season of heists and high-speed chases! The Lawless Battle Pass is your ticket to a criminal empire of Outfits and accessories. Rack up XP in any Fortnite experience to unlock rewards, both free and premium. For 1,000 V-Bucks or a Fortnite Crew membership, claim the premium rewards, including exclusive Outfits like The Enforcer, The Fugitive, and more.
It’s time to build your notorious crew. Here is the list of Battle Pass rewards for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2:

Apart from the Battle Pass tier rewards, you will also get a Battle Pass quest reward. The Outlaw Midas Outfit will be the quest reward for March. You can unlock it through any game mode on Fortnite by acquiring XP. Make sure you claim it before May 2, 2025.
Moreover, COWBOY BEBOP Quest will also be available from March 1 till March 18. You can complete the quests to get COWBOY BEBOP Wrap and BEBOP Legends Loading Screen.
