Control Resonant is the latest action-RPG title by Remedy set in the ‘Remedyverse,’ and in our Control Resonant review, we gave the title a perfect score. While early access for PS5 players is already live, Xbox and PC players may need to wait a bit longer to play Control Resonant until its September 24 release. Will Control Resonant Be Available on Xbox Game Pass at Launch?
Control Resonant will not be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. The game is available to purchase on the Xbox Store and the Xbox App on PC in two editions: Standard for $59.99 and Deluxe Edition for $69.99.
We asked Remedy Entertainment whether Control Resonant will drop on Xbox Game Pass at launch or not, and they confirmed the following to us:
“No, it’s not [dropping on Game Pass]. That was false news from Xbox UK, which, to my knowledge, corrected it; we’ve never said anything like that.”
This comes after Xbox UK shared a Control Resonant video on their Instagram page on September 9, 2026, and wrote, “Xbox Game Pass release too” on the overlay text on the clip. Shortly after, the video was taken down, and the player base started speculating that Control Resonant would be added to Xbox Game Pass games library at launch.
While we still can’t rule out whether the game will arrive on Xbox Game Pass at a later date, based on how things look at the moment, you’ll need to purchase a copy of Control Resonant in order to play it.
