Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 has introduced a new yet familiar range of characters, but it has also carried over the Dark Voyager’s storyline from the previous season. This comes in the form of the Chaos Cubes, remnants of the Dark Voyager’s power that are scattered throughout the map. If you are looking for a breakdown of all Fortnite Chaos Cube locations in Chapter 7 Season 2, here’s everything you need to know.
What are Chaos Cubes in Fortnite?
Chaos Cubes in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 are glowing orange cubes that are scattered across the Battle Royale island. You’ll come across them while exploring a POI on the new season’s map, as their location is not marked on the full mini-map.
Once you’re close enough and spot a Chaos Cube on either a vehicle, sink, or even a toilet, the location of that cube is marked with an exclamation mark on your mini-map. Upon collecting each of these cubes, you’ll get 4,000 XP and complete a part of the Path of the Voyager quests, which requires you to collect 40 cubes in total.
A new set of Chaos Cubes will be released on April 1, with the next Fortnite update, and we’ll update the section below when they’re out.
All Chaos Cube Locations on Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 Map
At the time of writing, there are a total of 40 Chaos Cubes you can find across different locations on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 map. Here’s where to find all of them:
Latte Landing Chaos Cube Locations (5)
- Nestled right between the two tents on the northwest cliffside.
- Located on the deck of the partially sunken boat.
- Search the third-floor office space, where the cube is sitting on a desk in the southwest corner.
- Perched directly on the swing set located on the eastern edge of the POI.
- Tucked away inside the blue tent at the southernmost tip of the area.
Fore Fields Chaos Cube Locations (5)
- Swim out to the island in the northeast corner; a cube is perched right at the top of the flagpole.
- Head to the northwest section and look for the “300” sign; the cube is sitting right next to a golf bag.
- Enter the southern building and check the tables; you’ll find a cube sitting on top of a board game.
- Locate the tent in the southwest. You’ll need to smash the red cooler to reveal the cube hidden inside.
- Check the sailboat anchored in the southeastern corner of the water.
Dark Dominion Chaos Cube Locations (5)
- Locate the small black structure northeast of the POI. Smash the glass on the western wall to gain entry.
- Head to the Zero Point Shard at the center and drop through the glass floor. The cube is resting on a pillar just below.
- Check the outdoor grill behind the westernmost red building to the southeast.
- Head south of the main area to the blue-roofed home, where you’ll find a cube tucked inside the bathtub.
- Enter the red-roofed house in the southern vineyard; the cube is displayed right on the fireplace mantel.
Battlewood Boulevard Chaos Cube Locations (5)
- Head to the northeastern building and clear the second floor; the cube is sitting right next to the film projector.
- Make your way to the northwestern corner of the Boulevard and scale the rock climbing wall to reach the cube at the top.
- Look for the kiddie pool tucked beside the main bridge in the center of town.
- Enter the house at the far southeastern edge; you’ll find the cube resting on a table inside.
- Scour the interior of the standalone building located just southwest of the main Boulevard area.
Wonkeeland Chaos Cube Locations (5)
- Head to the island’s northwestern tip and search the second floor of the dockside building; the cube is tucked away in a box.
- Drop into the ground floor beneath the Wonkeeland slide. For the quickest route, enter through the north-facing door to find it immediately.
- Scale the westernmost summit overlooking Wonkeeland to find a cube at the highest point.
- A cube is hovering directly above the iconic Wonkeeland statue near the main gates.
- Check the foliage, and you will find a cube hidden inside a bush next to the small, standalone building.
Humble Hills Chaos Cube Locations (5)
- Head to the northwestern building in Humble Hills; a cube is perched right on the Peely statue inside.
- There’s a cube hovering over the swimming pool at the northeastern house.
- Check the hot tub area at the southeastern Humble Hills residence to find a cube sitting on the lid.
- Find Uncle Pete’s Pizza Pit truck north of the Battlewood sign; the cube is tucked away inside the kitchen.
- Scale the massive Battlewood sign, where you will find a cube waiting for you on the back of the letter “A.”
Sus Studios Chaos Cube Locations (5)
- Enter Stage 2 (the westernmost studio) and look for the cooking show set; the cube is right among the gnomes and mini-robots.
- Head to Stage 1 in the central building and look up, where you will find a cube perched on the scaffolding high above the sets.
- Climb to the second floor of the easternmost building in the complex to find a cube in the office area.
- Travel northeast of the studios to the Cosmic Durrr Burger, and the cube is waiting inside the restaurant.
- Check the Sandy Bridge to the east. You’ll find a cube tucked under the mechanical arm of the construction vehicle.
Painted Palms Chaos Cube Locations (5)
- Head west of Painted Palms into the snow, where a cube is waiting under a canopy right next to the crashed saucer.
- Locate the food truck on the western edge of town.
- Find Kendano Cheeves’ private trailer on the south side, and you’ll find the cube tucked away inside.
- Look for the massive painted boulder equipped with a zipline; the cube is sheltered directly underneath.
- Venture to the northeastern airship wreckage and search inside the mouth of the giant plant nearby to find a cube.
As Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 continues to unfold, Epic will add more Chaos Cubes to the map, since the quest shows a total of 70 Chaos Cubes required. Once players gather all 70 Chaos Cubes, they will receive a massive 80,000 XP boost for the Showdown Battle Pass.
