All Fortnite Boss Locations and Rewards in Chapter 7 Season 2

With Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, Epic Games has introduced a new roster of bosses for players to take down. Ranging from familiar faces to new visitors from other realities, you will have to shift your strategies around to take down these formidable foes. If you want to learn more about all bosses in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, along with their locations, here’s everything you need to know.

All Boss Locations in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2

At the time of writing, there are 3 bosses that you can take on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 map. These include: 

• Dark Voyager Echo boss – Spotted at Dark Dominion or Battlewood Boulevard
• The Ice King boss – Spotted at Frigid Fortress, Dark Dominion, or Fore Fields
• Dread Punisher Squibbly boss – Spotted at Squibbly Shores

Out of the three Fortnite bosses, Dark Voyager Echo and Ice King switch their spawn locations between matches; Squibbly always spawns at a fixed spot on the island. Defeating each of these bosses can grant you mythic weapons, which are some of the best loot in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2.

How to Defeat Dark Voyager Echo Boss in Fortnite

You can find the Dark Voyager Echo boss in two primary Fortnite locations: Dark Dominion and Battlewood Boulevard. This is one of the easier boss fights in Chapter 7 Season 2, as the Dark Voyager wields a Mythic Chaos Reloader Shotgun, which can be deadly when used in close quarters.

The main challenge for this fight comes from the Dark Voyager Drones, which he can summon during the fight to distract and put pressure on you. The boss is quite simple to take down.

You just need to make sure that you keep your distance from him and aim for headshots on his glowing, flaming skull. This boss features a fairly limited health pool and doesn’t pose much of a challenge apart from the Dark Voyager Drones.

Upon defeat, the Dark Voyager will drop the following items:

• Dark Voyager’s Obliterator
• Shield Potion
• 1,000 Gold Bars

How to Defeat Ice King Boss in Fortnite

You can find the Ice King boss across multiple Fortnite locations on the Chapter 7 Season 2 map. These are:

• Frigid Fortress
• Dark Dominion
• Fore Fields

If you choose to take the Ice King on, you will have to deal with Lady Winterfrost as well. Lady Winterfrost can be seen siding with the Ice King in the Showdown Battle Pass. She acts as a bodyguard and a healer for the Ice King, splashing him with Chug Splashes during the boss fight. This, mixed with the Ice King’s attacks, can be frustrating to deal with.

When dealing with this boss fight, much like the Dark Voyager Echo, your focus needs to be on maintaining your distance from the Ice King and Lady Winterfrost. You can try taking down Lady Winterfrost first to avoid the boss getting healed.

It is important to remember that, once the Ice King is defeated, Lady Winterfrost will be eliminated automatically. Just make sure to dodge the Ice King’s Ice Blasts, which can cause tick damage if you get caught in its AoE. 

Upon being defeated, the Ice King will drop the following items:

• Ice King’s Gauntlets
• Chug Jug (not guaranteed)
• Self-Revive Device
• Mythic Brute Nemesis AR (not guaranteed)
• 1,000 Gold Bars

How to Defeat Dread Punisher Squibbly Boss in Fortnite

You can find the Dread Punisher Squibbly boss roaming around the Squibbly Shores location in Fortnite. Just like the Dark Voyager Echo, Squibbly will begin attacking you if you get too close to him. 

The Dread Punisher Squibbly fight is uniquely challenging. This is because, not only does he let out a barrage of shots from the Mythic Combat Assault Rifle, but he also uses exploding squids in the fight. These squids can quickly bring your health down to 0 if you’re not careful.

To avoid this, you need to constantly be on the move and not allow Squibbly to land a Squid on you. Also, while Dread Punisher Squibbly can go invisible during the boss fight, you can still see a translucent shape for the character. This makes him easier to deal with. 

Upon defeat, the Dread Punisher Squibbly boss drops the following items:

• Squibbly’s Combat Assault Rifle
• Cuddle Fish
• 1,000 Gold Bars

Apart from these characters, you can also take on The Foundation NPC as a boss in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 at the New Sanctuary location. However, the character doesn’t drop anything upon defeat.
