Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 is available for players to purchase in two different editions: Standard Edition and Vault Edition. Both editions are available across all platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and Battle.net). The title will also be available on Nintendo Switch 2. However, the pre-orders for that will be revealed later this summer.

Remember that previous Call of Duty owners will receive a 10% loyalty discount on digital stores. This will drop the price to $89.99 if they own any mainline Call of Duty title from 2019 onward or actively play the game via Xbox Game Pass.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4: Which Edition Should You Buy?

The choice between the Standard and Vault Edition of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 simply comes down to how much of a Call of Duty regular you are. If you just play for the single-player campaign and for a few rounds of multiplayer matches with friends, you should purchase the Standard Edition. If you typically don’t care about cosmetics or the seasonal Battle Pass, saving $30 is the right way to go.
