Where to Find a Raider Hatch Key in Arc Raiders?

In Arc Raiders, the Raider Hatch Key is an extremely valuable and rare item, but fortunately, it can be obtained in different ways in the game. Here are the various ways you can find a Raider Hatch Key in Arc Raiders:

Found During Raids

Since Raider Hatch Keys are one of the rare types of loot found in the game, you can find a key during one of your raids in all the maps in Arc Raiders. But it should be noted that the keys are randomly scattered across the regions. So, your best bet is to loot the crates and containers in the zones with abundant loot in each map.

It is highly unlikely that you will find a Raider Hatch Key during every one of the raids, even if you scavenger best loot areas in the game. Additionally, you can get a Raider Hatch Key in the enemy’s loot if they brought one or found one. Therefore, this is the least reliable method to obtain a Raider Hatch Key in Arc Raiders.

Raider Hatch Keys Can Be Crafted

Well, the good news is that you can craft your own Raider Hatch Keys before you begin a raid. However, your Utility Station at the workshop needs to be upgraded to level 2 (50 plastic parts and 6 ARC alloys needed) in order to be able to craft a Raider Hatch Key. Once you have successfully upgraded your utility station, you can craft a Raider Hatch Key with one Advanced Electrical Component and three Sensors in the game.

Buy One From Shani

In case you don’t have a Raider Hatch Key or are unable to craft one without the necessary resources, you can buy a Raider Hatch Key from the trader, Shani, for 100 cred (in-game currency). Another important thing to remember while using this method is that you need to be at least level 12 to purchase and can only purchase 2 Raider Hatch Keys from Shani in 24 hours.

Then you purchase again once the cooldown drops after a 24-hour window. Previously, you could only buy one key from Shani for 9000 coins. However, devs have made it a bit accessible for players to get a Raider Hatch Key in the trader shop lately.

How to Extract Using a Raider Hatch Key in Arc Raiders

Before you use a key, you need to remember that each Raider Hatch Key is only usable once in Arc Raiders. So if you used a Raider Hatch Key to open a Raider hatch one time, poof, that’s gone from your inventory. You will need another Raider Hatch Key to pull off another safe extraction in the game. With that said, here is how to use a Raider Hatch Key in Arc Raiders:

• Find a nearby raider hatch, and every raider hatch is marked with a down arrow icon on the map.
• Head to the raider hatch, and make sure you aren’t surrounded by any ARC enemies.
• You will need to unlock the hatch using one of your Raider Hatch Keys by pressing the E key.
• Once the key is used, the raider hatch will open right in front of you, and it will stay open for only 15-20 seconds.
• So, immediately press the E key once again to return to Speranza safely.
