Despite being a game in a niche genre, it has made a ton of noise in 2025 and continues to do so this year. That impact is evident in the number of players playing Arc Raiders on PC and consoles. On that note, here is the latest Arc Raiders player count across the platforms as of October 2026.

How Many People Are Playing Arc Raiders Right Now?

Since Embark Studios released Arc Raiders on both PC and consoles, the overall player count has been increasing. Although we cannot determine the exact player count for each console, we have new reports from industry specialists, Alinea Analytics.

According to SteamDB, the average Arc Raiders player count on Steam charts is currently around 119,755, with the peak CCU regularly exceeding that figure following the Frozen Trail update. Here are the current stats for Arc Raiders players on Steam:

While the game has maintained popularity on PC and console since its release, player counts have begun to dwindle lately. Fortunately, the game regained momentum in the player-count charts again with the Arc Raiders Frozen Trail update.

Players are enjoying the extraction shooter with the arrival of the new Pendola Pass map, and chances are high that the player count will remain stable until the next update. But with Embark Studios switching to a two-major-updates-per-year plan for Arc Raiders, we have to wait for a long time again for a new update.

There is no official Arc Raiders player count from Epic Games. However, the game is featured on the most-played games list on the Epic Games Store, which is a massive achievement when you consider that Arc Raiders is not free-to-play.

Arc Raiders Player Count on Consoles (PS5 and Xbox)

The latest financial report from Nexon revealed that Arc Raiders hit a peak concurrent player count of 960,000 across all platforms, which is a new record for the game. Nexon also confirmed that nearly 6 million players have hopped into the game every week since the game’s launch in October 2025. With nearly 482k players coming from PC, there must have been nearly 478k console players when the game hit a new milestone, according to Nexon.

The latest PlayStation update included a new UI feature. PS5 console owners finally see the peak player count for the games they play on the homepage. In the United States alone, Arc Raiders had a peak of 972K players, and third-party platforms suggest that the game has around 104K players at the time of writing.

How Many Copies Has Arc Raiders Sold?

According to Nexon’s Q2 earnings call report, the game has sold over 16.3 million units worldwide. As of now, this number is across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. This has contributed to Embark Studios netting around $500 million in revenue from the game. With a great roadmap for Arc Raiders lined up, Embark expects even more sales down the line.

With the game breaking its own records frequently, it continues to prove that extraction shooters can still pack a punch in 2026.

Frozen Trail update brings an Arc Raider Pendola Pass map and ARC enemies. In addition, Embark is now permanently banning cheaters, so Arc Raiders may reach a new peak again soon.
