Arc Raiders: How to Get Canto SMG Blueprint

The release of the Arc Raiders Flashpoint update has introduced a ton of new content into the game, including two brand new weapons for players to take down ARC enemies with. One of these new weapons is the Canto SMG, a rapid-fire SMG that uses medium bullets and can be an absolute force to be reckoned with. If you are looking for the Canto SMG blueprint, here’s how to find the new SMG in Arc Raiders.

Where to Find Canto SMG Blueprint in Arc Raiders

Right now, the most reliable way to find the Canto SMG blueprint in Arc Raiders is by loading into a map with the Hurricane map condition active and looting First Wave Raider Caches, which only spawn during this map condition.

Since this is an extremely rare weapon, the Canto SMG blueprint, like most other Arc Raiders blueprints, does not have a 100% fixed spawn point. This means there is not a single specific location you need to access to get the Canto SMG blueprint. You just have to play the game as you usually do, and loot as much as you can to have a chance at getting this new blueprint.

You can increase your chances of running into the Arc Raiders Canto SMG blueprint by looting Security Lockers and Containers in high-loot areas on different maps like Dam Battlegrounds and Stella Montis. These high-loot locations include:

Then, you can even further increase your chances of getting the new Canto SMG blueprint in Arc Raiders by deploying during the Night Raid map condition. This special condition provides an item discovery boost for all players, especially behind locked doors.

How to Craft Canto SMG in Arc Raiders

Once you have secured the Canto SMG blueprint in Arc Raiders and successfully extracted it to Speranza, you can now craft the new Canto SMG for future use. All you need to do is head to your Gunsmith Station to craft this weapon. You will need the following materials to craft the Canto SMG:

Is the New Canto SMG Meta in Arc Raiders?

The new Canto weapon is a welcoming addition to the handful of SMGs we have in the game. Now Canto doesn’t beat the king of SMGs, Bobcat. It has high recoil, even more than a Bobcat. But still, the new SMG is powerful enough to obliterate raiders in PvP scenarios if you upgrade it and learn to control it. Also, equip the right mods, such as Extended Medium Mag III and a Kinetic Converter, and you have a great SMG in your hands.
