With Google announcing a big shift in Android updates with Android 16, manufacturers will have to work extra hard to push the update. It’s challenging considering Android 15 released in November last year, and most devices are still sitting on Android 14, waiting for Android 15. OnePlus was among the top manufacturers that quickly pushed Android 15, and if you’re waiting for Android 16, here’s are all the OnePlus phones that will get Android 16.
Android 16: List of Supported OnePlus Phones
OxygenOS 15 (review) based on Android 15 was one of the biggest updates to OxygenOS in years. With OnePlus announcing up to four major Android updates on it flagships starting from OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 13R (review), many OnePlus devices are eligible for Android 16.
It’s worth noting that it’s not confirmed if the release will be called OxygenOS 16. This list was deduced based on the launch date of the devices and the number of updates promised. Let’s start with the flagships and the flagship killers first.
OnePlus Phones
Both the OnePlus 13 (review) and 13R have been promised four major Android updates, which makes them eligible for updates up to Android 19.

The OnePlus 11 and 12 will get four major updates each. The OnePlus 11R and 12R were promised three major updates, and Android 16 will be the last update for the 11R.
OnePlus Nord Series
OnePlus Nord 4 is the company’s latest mid-range offering, and unlike their previous mid-range devices, the Nord 4 will get 4 major OS updates. Android 16 will be the last update for Nord CE 4, CE 4 Lite, and Nord 3.

OnePlus Foldables and Tablets
Like OnePlus flagships, the OnePlus Open will get four major Android updates, which makes it eligible for Android 16. The OnePlus Pad and Pad Go came out with Android 13 and have reached EOL. Therefore, they won’t be receiving Android 16. OnePlus Pad 2 launched with OxygenOS 14 and recently received OxygenOS 15. It will also be getting Android 16 and 17.

And those are all the devices eligible for OxygenOS 16 update based on Android 16. It does exclude a lot of OnePlus devices that have reached their end of life. OxygenOS 16 is coming soon as OnePlus has partnered with Google to test Android 16 Beta on the OnePlus 13. The latest flagship has already had two Betas. If Google does release Android 16 sometime in May, we can expect OnePlus 13 and 12 series to get Android 16 by June or July.
