Airtel Brings Back Rs. 649 Postpaid Plan with 50GB 4G Data

Airtel Introduces 300Mbps Home Wi-Fi Plan With Monthly Tariff of ₹2,199

India’s largest telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has re-introduced its Rs. 649 postpaid plan which the company had discontinued earlier. The relaunched plan is the company’s latest addition to its “Best Selling Postpaid Plans” under MyPlan Infinity, which also include Rs. 399, Rs. 499, Rs.799, and Rs. 1,199 plans.

Before being discontinued, the Rs. 649 plan offered 30GB of 4G data long with unlimited calling. Now, however, the plan includes 50GB of 4G data along with unlimited calling and a rollover facility. The new plan directly competes with Reliance Jio’s Rs. 509 and Rs. 799 postpaid plans which offer 60GB data with a 2GB daily limit and 90GB data with a 3GB daily limit respectively.

Along with the 50GB data, the new Rs. 649 plan also offers unlimited voice calls (as mentioned earlier), free outgoing even on roaming, and no FUP limit on voice calls. Any unused data at the end of the month will also be carried over to the next month with the new plan. The plan also offers additional benefits including a free add-on connection, which will allow users to add another Airtel postpaid connection to the primary account and avail the same benefits. The plan also includes one year subscription of Amazon Prime, Airtel Wynk TV subscription, and handset damage protection.
