Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Leaked Promo Images Show Thin Bezels, Price

Xiaomi has never shied away from creating hype around new products weeks and even months before their actual launch. The Mi Pad 4, which is the company’s upcoming tablet, has been teased multiple times by the company. And now more images have surfaced to give us a better look at the tablet.

As reported by GSMArenaa couple of images of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 have been leaked, which reveal the tablet’s design in plenty of perspective images. The leaks suggest a slightly slimmer tablet with minimal bezels on the sides.

Noticeably, the front bezels look like what has been trimmed when compared to those of the Mi Pad, Pad 2 and Pad 3. The company seems to have removed the Mi branding from the front while making the bezels thinner on the top and bottom. You can find the Mi branding on the back side in the bottom section.

Also, while the camera position remains the same as it has been in the previous generations, the sensor definitely looks to be a tad bit bigger this time around. Also, for those of you still prefer the 3.5mm jack, it can be spotted on the upper edge of the device.

The Mi Pad 4 is expected to feature an 8-inch display on top a 16:10 aspect ratio. The device has been confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM on one variant, with talks of a 3GB variant as well. The cameras on the Mi Pad 4 which will be a 13MP sensor on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter. These cameras will miss out on 4K recording despite it being supported by the processor, but it is likely to come with a portrait mode. Additionally, Xiaomi recently teased the presence of facial recognition feature for unlocking the tablet, and without a fingerprint reader in sight, we can expect that to be the primary unlocking method. With a 6,000mAh battery, one can expect plenty of juive in the device.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad is expected to be launched on July 25 and will be priced at 1,499 CNY or roughly around Rs 16,000.
