At the NYCC 2025, it was announced that Lee Pace will voice Thragg in Invincible Season 4, the leader of the Viltrumites. If you are not familiar with the actor, he has appeared in multiple big projects and has also had recurring roles in The Hobbit. He has worked on movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Marvel and has been a part of the show titled Foundation since 2024.
Who Is Thragg in Invincible Comics?
In the pages of Invincible Comics, Thragg is the strongest pure blooded Viltrumite and also Viltrum’s Grand Regent, or leader. When it comes to strength, Thragg is stronger than some of the most powerful characters in the universe, like Conquest, Omni-Man, or Battle Beast. Like any other Viltrumite, Thragg has super strength, flight, and insane durability.
Throughout the entire run of Invincible, the only ones who have given him a tough time were Invincible and Battle Beast. Even though he appears much later, Thragg is the ultimate villain of the Invincible Universe.
In the comics, when Battle Beast confronted Thragg, their fight lasted for days, but eventually, Thragg won and used Battle Beast’s fur to make a coat for himself. When Thragg was defeated and exiled from Viltrum, he didn’t give up, even then, and made his own army to invade Viltrum once again to gain control.
