The TV Show features Oscar Tully as the grandson of the head of House Tully, Grover Tully, but in the books, he is the great-great-grandson of Lord Tully.

Since childhood, Oscar has aspired to become a great warrior, but the adults of the house often see him as an inexperienced child. However, responsibilities get on his shoulders when Daemon desperately wants to meet Grover Tully, but as he is ill, Oscar has to show up instead. However, the Targaryen prince senses his lack of confidence.

Daemon tries to use his manipulation skills on the young boy. He suggests he hasten Grover’s death and become his successor so that Oscar can use the resources of House Tully for Rhaenyrs’ cause during the war. However, Oscar is very different from Daemon, and he deeply respects his grandfather, so he gives the Targaryen prince a horrified look.

In Harrenhal, Oscar announces in front of all the other lords of Riverlands that he can’t stand Daemon, but as House Tully has sworn an oath to Rhaenyra, he will certainly support the Blacks. But since he doesn’t like Daemon, he sets a little trap for him. Oscar knew very well about Lord Blackwood’s crimes against the Brackens as per Daemon’s request. Oscar smartly made Daemon punish the Blackwood Lord, as he knew he couldn’t do anything if he called out the Targaryen prince in front of everyone.

During Dance of the Dragons, Oscar Tully loyally supports Rhaenyra. After the battle ends, he travels to the Free Cities and starts a company called Stormbreakers.
