Vivo recently unveiled its flagship NEX smartphones and while they are already on sale in China, there has been no word on when these phones will make it to India or any other country out there. Well, from what we hear at MWC Shanghai 2018, the Vivo NEX smartphones are coming to India soon, just like we were told by Vivo in India well before the NEX lineup was made official.
The Vivo NEX S and NEX A are on show here at the Qualcomm booth and while we were going hands on with the new smartphones, we enquired about the availability of these phones in global markets including India. Well, the spokesperson we talked to did not really mention a specific date or time but he did say that “Vivo is definitely bringing the NEX phones to India”.
While we would have loved to know the exact launch dates, it’s good to get a confirmation that the phones are definitely hitting Indian shores. Also, if recent trends are any indication, Vivo should launch its NEX phones in July or August.
Well, here’s hoping the NEX smartphones launch in India soon because the NEX S flagship does seem like a very innovative device. The NEX S takes a lot of cues from Vivo Apex, the much appreciated concept phone the company showed off at MWC 2018, with features like the in-screen fingerprint scanner and the very cool pop-up selfie camera.
Well, here’s hoping Vivo launches the NEX phones in India soon and since we are at MWC Shanghai 2018, we will try to get more info about the Vivo NEX launch in India, so stay tuned.
