The third and final installment of Sony’s Venom franchise is releasing soon. Even though initially taken with a pinch of salt, with the trailer released, people are now eagerly awaiting the release of Venom: The Last Dance. When Is Venom 3 Coming Out
Venom 3 is set to release on October 25, 2024, as the second Marvel movie after Deadpool and Wolverine to be released this year. Initially, Venom the Last Dance was set to release in July 2024, but it was further pushed back to November 4. However after the SAG-AFTRA strikes, it was further pushed back to October, and now, Venom: The Last Dance will release in October this year.
Is There a Venom 3 Trailer
Venom 3 dropped its trailer on June 3, 2024. The trailer was pretty long with a runtime of 3 minutes. It showed us some pretty intense shots we would get to see in the movie but the highlight of the trailer was Venom taking over a horse turning it into one beast of an animal.
The trailer also shows us some kind of a military force hunting down Venom and Eddie so it has the potential of turning into a pretty intense flick. So, let’s wait till October 25 and see what Sony has brought us this time.
What Is the Venom 3 Cast
The cast of Venom 3 will see Tom Hardy returning as Eddie Brock and the voice of Venom, along with him we will get to see Peggy Lu reprise the role of Mrs. Chen, Stephen Graham in the role of Patrick Mulligan, the host of an evil symbiote called Toxin. The trailer for Venom: The Last Dance also shows us some new actors joining the cast.
Juno Temple is going to play the role of a scientist while Chiwetel Ejiofor will be playing a soldier. The names of both these characters have not been disclosed to us. Rhys Ifans is also confirmed to play a character in Venom 3 but it’s not clear whether he will appear in the role of Doctor Curt Conners aka The Lizard or some other character.

What Is the Plot of Venom 3
The trailer for Venom 3 has made the plot of this movie kinda obvious without spoiling it for us as well. The official plot synopsis of Venom 3 states-
For the final film in the trilogy, Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.
Based on this synopsis, we can state that this movie will have a huge chunk featuring a cat-and-mouse chase between some organizations trying to hunt down Venom while they try to protect Earth from an invasion initiated by Venom’s home planet. Is Spider-Man in Venom 3
One of the biggest rumors floating around regarding Venom 3 is the inclusion of Spider-Man in the movie. This stemmed from the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home where we saw Eddie Brock blip into the MCU and leave a fragment of the Venom symbiote in a bar. However, in the trailer for Venom 3, a soldier played by Chiwetel Ejiofor caught that symbiote.
There are also rumors that we might get to see Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man in Venom 3. These rumors came into being when Rhys Ifans, who played The Lizard AKA Doctor Curt Conners in The Amazing Spider-Man made an appearance in the Venom 3 trailer. This led to theories stating that the events of Venom 3 would take place in the same universe as The Amazing Spider-Man. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
Who Is the Villain in Venom 3
Looking at the trailer, the most certain candidate to be the villain in Venom 3 is another Symbiote named Toxin. Even though in the comics, Toxin is more of an anti-hero, it seems that in this movie we will see Toxin working with humans to take down Venom. There are also rumors that Knull, the God of Darkness and the creator of Symbiotes might appear in the movie as the main villain.
However, this seems to be rather difficult to execute since Sony might not have the rights to this character. Even if they do, bringing in a character as major as Knull in the last Venom movie sounds like a mistake. There is another much more interesting rumor talking about Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man being the villain from the POV of Venom. Now, there is absolutely no confirmation regarding this hence, we can’t comment on it. So, I’m just going to leave it there.
