After Matt Reeves blew up the minds of Batman fans collectively with The Batman setting up a universe no one saw coming. Even though not directed by Matt Reeves, The Penguin right now is one of the most anticipated projects to be released on HBO Max. The Penguin is going to explore the aftermath Riddler’s actions had on the organized crime of Gotham after The Batman. We will get to see the rise of Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin as one of Gotham’s most prominent crime bosses. The Penguin Releases on September 19 at 9 PM ET on HBO And Max

The Penguin is set to make a release on HBO and MAX on September 19, 2024. All eight episodes of this show will be released on HBO and MAX with the first episode titled “After Hours” releasing at 9 PM ET. However, after the premiere of the first episode, the next episode of The Penguin will be released on September 29, Sunday, and the remaining episodes will follow the weekly release.

The trailers for Penguin have promised us an action-packed experience with Oswald Cobblepot taking on the wannabe crime bosses of Gotham to gain absolute power. The creators of the show have claimed that Penguin is going to be somewhat of a superhero take on The Sopranos. Early reviews of The Penguin also claim it to be the most badass depiction of the DC villain.

The series also promises to give more insight into the universe of “The Batman” and the events we might see in The Batman 2.
