All Bloodsworn Characters and Classes in The Duskbloods

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the mastermind behind Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Sekiro, and more, is returning this year with The Duskbloods. The data on The Duskbloods’ server has revealed all 14 different classes in the game along with their characters. Let’s go over The Duskbloods’ characters one by one below:

Walter — The Blood-Eater

  • Ability: Inhumane sense of smell

The first Duskbloods character class is Walter, the sole survivor of an extinct clan of rare-blood hunters. He is said to have killed his own younger sister. Since then, he has spiraled down to a maddened state after he kept licking his sister’s blood.

In this state, he has acquired an inhumane sense of smell, allowing him to track the hidden blind spots in others’ pasts. He is now on the hunt for the ‘pure blood’ while treading a fine line between life and death.

Gillian — The Guillotine

  • Weapon: Massive Guillotine Blade

Gillian is an executioner of the Malisbell Inquisition Order. It is mentioned that Gillian always carries a gigantic beheading blade (made of iron) on his back. Being an Executioner, Gillian has been drenched in blood his whole life, and it unexpectedly triggers his own mutation.

Before his own head rolls off, he aims to find the First Blood. Surely, he is one of the most interesting character classes in The Duskbloods. So, you can try him out alongside your friend in The Duskbloods co-op mode.

Veronica — Foul-Rot

  • Ability: Blood and Rot

Veronica is confirmed to be a blind nun who her kin had left in the basement of a ruined cathedral. Her power comes from the blood cysts rapidly multiplying inside her body, making her a powerful character class in The Duskbloods.

Thus, she opts to self-harm and unleash the power of her blood. Furthermore, it is mentioned that wherever Veronica goes, she leaves behind a trail of rot.

Sebastian — Nail-Pierced

  • Ability: Overwhelming Ferocity

Sebastian is a fanatic saint devoted to pulling off miracles. So, he goes to extreme lengths of piercing silver nails into various parts of his body. He then uses the blood flowing out to create miracles.

Similar to Veronica, Sebastian also chooses self-inflicted wounds. However, he temporarily enters an overwhelming state of ferocity. There is no hope for this Duskbloods character as both his mind and body are beyond broken. He is expected to be one of the playable character classes in The Duskbloods network test.

Maurice — Coffin Bearer

  • Weapon: Iron Coffin

In the twilight town of Temrat, Maurice has spent his whole life collecting corpses at dusk. He has an iron coffin strapped to his back, and it is the home to a muddy, unnatural creature that was once his family member.

Maurice fights with his iron coffin, slamming it down on enemies. What’s even more terrifying is the fact that Maurice takes the blood of his opponents and feeds it to the monstrous creature living inside his coffin. He is definitely going to be one of the most popular character classes in The Duskbloods.

Oscar — Thread-Torn

  • Ability: Beast Transformation

Oscar is a promising Taxidermist who has gone mad. He now sews the flesh of beasts from various eras onto his own body. To top it off, he also cuts the tissues of his enemies and stitches them onto himself to become stronger with each addition.

In this way, Oscar’s body is capable of transforming into an ancient beast with uncontrolled power. If our guess is correct, he will be an overpowered character class in The Duskbloods.

Wulan — Mud-Treader

  • Ability: Poisonous Swamp

Through various human experiments, Wulan inherited superhuman levels of leg strength. She is a woman warrior who fights with the blood that flows out of her ankles. In contrast to the other Duskbloods character class, Veronica, Wulan is capable of forming a poisonous crimson swamp on her path.

Isabelle — Candle-Snuffer

  • Ability: Shadow Control

Isabelle is a former servant who used to work at the Siltera noble household. However, her servant days are a thing of the past as she is now a master of shadows. Isabelle is capable of creating shadows and using them to trap and steal the blood of her enemies in The Duskbloods. No matter where she goes, all light in her path gets automatically extinguished.

Randolph — Gut-Rinner

  • Weapon: Spear

Randolph is a veteran assault trooper of the Sampere Armament Corps. Unusually, he wields a machine on his back that allows him to fly. In addition, he has also mounted a giant spear capable of piercing through an opponent’s armor. Moreover, he has a mechanized abdomen that needs to be charged with drained blood to unleash heavy strikes.

Yuri — Gazer-of-Flesh

  • Ability: Blood Flow Control

Yuri is a heretic who cut off his own eyelids. Nevertheless, he has the power to force the blood flow of a target and let them explode from within. We will have to wait to learn more about this character class in The Duskbloods.

Camilla — Ash-Crown

  • Ability: Petrification

Camilla is a girl who had to watch her entire clan get burned to death. Now she mixes her blood with the ashes of her people to petrify her enemies. Following the petrification, it is also mentioned that Camilla can shatter the crystallized enemy to pieces in The Duskbloods.

Baldur — Rust-Gospel

  • Ability: Prayer Attacks

Baldur is a priest who has given up on his religious duties to battle. He stuffs his mouth with iron scraps and needles beforehand. In a fight, he utters a prayer, and the blood formed in his mouth due to the scraps is used to unleash an overpowered attack. He is also one of the most interesting character class choices in The Duskbloods.

Elsa — Dusk-Silt

  • Ability: Body Transformation

Elsa is confirmed to be a character whose Dusk sickness has progressed to its final stage. Despite being frail, Elsa uses her disease to her advantage. In defense, she can turn her body into a sludge to dodge an incoming attack. In addition, she can also inject her own poisoned blood into an enemy and invite them to death.

Nameless Shadow — First-Shard

  • Ability: Mimic

Nameless Shadow, as the name implies, is said to be an incomplete mass of flesh that belongs to the ‘First Blood.’ This being cannot understand any language and possesses no knowledge about its origins. However, this cursed being has the overpowered ability to mimic and perform the blood-art techniques of every other living being.
