FromSoftware is continuing its multiplayer run with The Duskbloods. Ever since the game was first announced at a Nintendo Direct, many players have been wondering whether it supports solo or co-op play. So, does The Duskbloods have co-op or not? Will The Duskbloods Have Co-op?

Yes, The Duskbloods will support co-op gameplay at launch, according to an FAQ on the game’s official website. FromSoftware recently confirmed that players won’t be able to invite their friends to play together in the multiplayer mode of The Duskbloods Closed Network Test build.

However, for those wondering, if The Duskbloods does have co-op, the developer also mentioned that the full retail version of The Duskbloods is planned to include the co-op functionality.

In case you didn’t know, The Duskbloods is a PvPvE multiplayer game. Eight players become the Bloodsworn of Dusk and compete against one another in Dusk battles to claim the First Blood. Since only eight players are allowed per match, it is currently unknown whether The Duskbloods will support 2-player or 4-player squads at launch.

In addition to the co-op play modes, The Duskbloods will also include a solo play mode similar to FromSoftware’s previous co-op PvE game, Elden Ring: Nightreign. Although the game is scheduled for a 2026 release, FromSoftware is keeping the gameplay details under wraps.
