One such supe is Soldier Boy, a parody of Marvel’s Captain America with pretty much the same origin story. Soldier Boy (played by Jensen Ackles) was introduced to us in The Boys Season 3. Soldier Boy Has the Same Powers as Captain America
Since Soldier Boy is a parody of Captain America, he has the same set of powers as him with some changes. Soldier Boy has the powers of enhanced strength, durability, immunity to toxins and radiation, and some level of psychic immunity.
Other than this, there is an additional power given to Soldier Boy, he can shoot a blast of radiation so powerful that he can clear out blocks with each blast. He is basically a walking tactical nuke. These blasts are so powerful that they can burn away the Compound V in a supe’s bloodstream taking away their powers completely making him the most powerful supe on the planet.
How Did Soldier Boy Get His Radiation Blast Power
As we all know Soldier Boy was held captive by the Russians for a very long time. The Russians were very much interested in his enhancement and wanted to replicate it. So, they experimented on him a lot using radiation. As a response to being overly exposed to radiation, Soldier Boy’s body started creating radiation of its own turning him into a walking nuclear reactor.
This gave Soldier Boy the power of creating radiation blasts but they are heavily influenced by his emotional state and can easily be triggered by his PTSD, making him a threat to everyone around him. So far, fans have been wondering where Soldier Boy is in The Boys Season 4 but with the finale approaching, let’s hope that we get to see him in episode 8.
