The release of Kojima's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is right around the corner. Some of the press outlets got a hands-on experience of the game ahead of the game's release. A24 and Kojima Productions have announced a director for the upcoming Death Stranding live-action adaptation. The live-action adaptation of the critically acclaimed game will be directed by Pig and A Quiet Place: Day One famed Michael Sarnoski. Kojima assured fans that this adaptation will be more than a direct translation, aiming to create a never-before-seen Death Stranding universe.

Death Stranding 2 On the Beach will be released on June 26 as revealed on SXSW special panel. The PS5 exclusive will have pre-orders open on March 17 with a Normal Edition ($69.99), Digital Deluxe ($79.99), and a Collector's Edition ($229.99) option. Players who opt for the Digital Deluxe or Collector's Edition bundle will get 48 hours of early access.

Death Stranding Director's Cut has quietly been released for the Xbox Series X and S consoles as Kojima Productions has also taken over the IP. Read more about it all here.

Death Stranding 2 is officially called Death Stranding 2 On The Beach, continuing a few years after Sam and Louise's journey in Death Stranding. This time around, it seems players will journey through Mexico to connect it to the UCA network, rebuilding the region. The game is planned to launch in 2025.

Death Stranding Director's Cut is launching on iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max and Apple Silicon Mac and iPad models on January 30, 2024. The AAA gaming title, directed by Hideo Kojima, is already available for pre-order on the App Store at a discounted price of $19.99 for a limited time.
