While the games didn’t bring anything new to the table, they were still fun to watch because of the emotional impact they had on the contestants. When the trailer was released, no one knew the exact name of the game that teased a glass bowl filled with Red and Blue balls. So, we just simply called it the ‘Gumball Machine’ game. However, now that the much-awaited final season of Squid Game has arrived, we learned that the game is called ‘Hide & Seek’, a game that none of us would have ignored playing in our childhood. Squid Game Season 3 gave it a terrifying twist to the game, though.

Every player must draw one ball each from the gumball machine, and like that, they will be split into two teams: Red and Blue. Every player in Team Blue is given keys, and those in Team Red get knives. The latter become the taggers and the former become the ones to hide. However, the twist here is that the members of the blue team can enter the rooms of the arena and lock them from inside to stay hidden. However, if the red team members succeed in opening the doors, they cannot be relocked again. Additionally, the taggers would have to kill the members within 30 minutes after spotting them.

2. Jump Rope Game

In Squid Game Season 2, we got to see contestants struggling with the tug-of-war game that didn’t end without taking some lives. However, Squid Game Season 3 has went one step ahead and gave us yet another deadly game involving jumping and rope. Yes, we are talking about the Jump rope game involving the girl and the boy doll. This game was held on a narrow track, and we saw the female doll holding one side of the rope, whereas Cheol-su, the male doll, was on the other side of the platform holding the rope from the other end.

To survive this game, players had to cross the platform within 20 minutes while also surviving the rope. They had to jump at the right moment to prevent themselves from falling off the platform. This was the very game where Player 222 decided to take her own life, as she couldn’t jump because of the leg injury.

3. Sky Squid Game (The Final Game of Season 3)

After the Jump Rope game, only nine players survived, including the baby. In the Sky Squid Game, there were three platforms, or stages, that players had to survive. In each stage, players had to push at least one player off the platform after initating the round by the push of a button.

There was no maximum limit, of course, but at least one member had to die on each platform, making the minimum death toll of three. However, things get out of hand, and while six people could’ve walked out alive after the final game, only the baby survived in the end. The final confrontation was between Player 333 and Player 456. While Player 333 falls off while fighting Gi-Hun, Player 456, on the other hand, decides to sacrifice himself in order to save the baby.
