It’s that time of the year when we don’t see too many smartphone launches but end the year on a great note with lots of leaks and rumors. The launch of Samsung’s next S series of devices is due early next year and we now have leaks suggesting the Global launch happening sooner than expected, alongside fresh renders. Here’s everything you should know about the new Samsung Galaxy S24 series leaks.
Galaxy S24 Series Launch Date Leaked
Popular leaker Evan Blass AKA @evleaks posted a GIF on X of what looks like a web snippet of the Galaxy Unpacked event called “Galaxy AI.” The GIF contains a countdown to the event that will be held on January 18, 2024. He posted in the same thread the list of phones that have been tested and approved for the AT&T network containing all the SKUs of the Galaxy S24 series.
Leaked Galaxy S24 Series Colors and Renders
Another popular leaker Roland Quandt also took X to post a few high-quality renders of all the phones in the series and all color variants. The Galaxy S24 and S24+ will come in four colors Cream, Black, Lavender, and what looks like a Silver color (?).
The Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, will come in Phantom Black, Lavender, Cream, and a Dawn color (?). There’s another color variant that was leaked back in November which had this acrylic hue to it. We’re not sure if it will be an official color.
Android Headlines revealed more info about the official names of the colors with the S24 and 24+ colors being Cobalt Violet, Onyx Black, Marble Grey, and Amber Yellow.
The specifications of perhaps the most anticipated smartphone of every year, the S24 Ultra have been floating around for a long time. Leaks suggest a display upgrade, system-wide AI capabilities, and an improved camera software experience. Among others, some of the obvious specifications would be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 200 MP camera, flat display, and a Titanium frame.
