The Fortnite x Rick and Morty crossover first kicked off in Chapter 2 Season 7, which saw Dr. Slone and the Imagined Order bringing Rick Sanchez to the Battle Royale island to take on the unprecedented threat of the Last Reality. Initially, the collaboration only featured the Rick Sanchez skin, which was part of Chapter 2 Season 7’s Battle Pass, released on June 8, 2021.

However, Epic has since expanded this collaboration roster by adding other characters like the titular Morty to the game as well. The Mecha Morty skin was released in the Fortnite Item Shop on August 22, 2021, alongside other skins like Queen Summer and Mr. Meeseeks. Each of these characters came packaged with themed cosmetics like pickaxes and back blings in their respective bundles.

After Wave 2 of the collab, many thought the Rick and Morty collab had officially wrapped up. However, almost 5 years after the release of Wave 2, Epic surprised players with Wave 3 of the Rick and Morty skins, released on March 7, 2026. How to Get Fortnite Rick and Morty Collaboration Skins in 2026

Fortnite and Rick and Morty have had a long-running collaboration ever since Chapter 2 Season 7, with Epic consistently adding more characters from the beloved animated show to the Battle Royale island. This means, as of Fortnite Chapter 7, you have a lot of Rick and Morty skins to choose from. This includes the newly released Pickle Rick skin and Rick Prime skins. However, it is important to remember that not all of these skins are available for purchase, as of writing.
