However, you must know how to obtain them and apply them to your cards. If you don’t have any idea about it, then worry not, as we have all the information you need.
What is Flair in Pokemon TCG Pocket?
Flair is a visual cosmetic effect that you can apply to your cards. There are two types of flair, which are as follows:
- Cosmetic Flair: They always appear on the card, especially when put on showcases in a profile.
- Battle Flair: They appear when you put a card on your bench or active spot from your hand in a battle.

The type of flair you can apply to a card also depends on its rarity. For example, you can see my Immersive Rare Mega Gyarados EX has a different flair compared to Double Rare Gyarados EX. Each card can have only one flair equipped on it. You need multiple flairs if you want both of your cards to have flairs.
Additionally, flairs are non-shareable. You cannot share a flair with your friends, as it will be taken off the cards and will remain with the owner.
How to Get Flair in Pokemon TCG Pocket
You can get flairs if you have enough Shinedust and more than two copies of the card. You can check the card from the ‘My Cards’ option, and click on the Obtain Items, to check if you have enough resources to get the flair for the card. You can even purchase a flair multiple times.

Lower rarity cards require more copies of the cards and less Shinedust, whereas higher rarity cards require one duplicate card and a lot of Shinedust. You also need to unlock the first cosmetic flair option for lower rarity cards before unlocking the battle flairs.
