Pokemon GO Winter Weekend Date and Time
The Winter Weekend event in Pokemon GO was released on Saturday, December 27, 2025, and will be available for a day. We have listed the start and the end times below.
- Start Date and Time: Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 10 AM local time
- End Date and Time: Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 8 PM local time
Once the event ends, you will no longer be able to take part and obtain the rewards.
Pokemon GO Winter Weekend Event Bonuses
Just like any other Pokemon GO event, the Winter Weekend comes with some exclusive event bonuses. Here’s a list of them:
- No daily limit on the amount of GO Points players can earn
- Players will get bonus daily quests for their GO Pass: Winter Holiday 2025
The Winter Holiday GO Pass is a limited-time GO Pass that was released during the Pokemon GO Winter Holiday event. The GO Pass expires on December 29, 2025, at 8 PM local time. So, it you haven’t finished it yet, now is your perfect time, as you’ll get extra points and quests for it.
Featured Pokemon
Eevee wearing a holiday hat will be featured during the Winter Weekend event. There will also be an increased chance to encounter Shiny Eevee wearing a holiday hat from Timed Research tasks.
Moreover, you can evolve Eevee into its eight evolution forms: Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon. After evolving Eevee, the eeveelution will also be wearing a holiday hat. If you want to get all of them, we recommend that you catch at least nine Eevee. If you’re lucky, you might even get a shiny costumed Eeveelution.
Winter Weekend Special Research
During the Winter Weekend event, a new event-exclusive Timed Research will be available for players to complete. The Timed Research has two steps, and both of them have the same tasks and rewards. Here’s a list of them:
