As Pokemon GO players enthusiastically strut through various events for the June roadmap, the hype seems to carry on. The latest Pokemon GO Spelunker’s Cove event has started to sweep in. In an event that coincides with the GO Fest Madrid, the event brings a lot of Pokemon wild encounters that you must know about. With that being said, let’s talk about all Pokemon encounters and their bonuses in the upcoming Spelunker’s Cove event.
Pokemon GO Spelunker’s Cove Wild Encounters
The Spelunker’s Cove event will start from 15 June 2024 10 AM to June 17 8 PM local time. As it’s a limited-time event, you should prepare for all Spelunker’s Cove wild Pokemon encounters right now. Players will also get a 2X Candy Bonus for catching any of the below Pokemon during the event!
During the event, 10 Pokemon will appear frequently in-game. Some of these Pokemon will also include their shiny variant. These are:
- Geodude and Shiny Geodude
- Rhyhorn and Shiny Rhyhorn
- Chinchou and Shiny Chinchou
- Marill and Shiny Marill
- Shuckle and Shiny Shuckle
- Remoraid and Shiny Remoraid
- Nosepass and Shiny Nosepass
- Feebas and Shiny Feebas
- Carbink
- Crabrawler and Shiny Crabrawler
For the first time, we will get the chance to catch a Shiny Crabrawler! So, if you’ve never caught one, the Pokemon Go Spelunker’s Cove event is the one for you!
Pokemon GO Spelunker’s Cove Raids
The Pokemon GO Spelunker’s Cove event will also feature a few Pokemon raids for you to beat. These are:
1-Star Raids
- Crabrawler and Shiny Crabrawler
- Wimpod and Shiny Wimpod
- Jangmo-o
3-Star Raids
- Onix and Shiny Onix
- Kabutops
- Crawdaunt
You can join these raids during the usual raid hours of 6 PM to 7 PM local time at specific gyms. And yes, you will require a Raid pass to participate in the raid fights. And while you can encounter the Shiny variant of a few of these Pokemon, their chances of appearance are still low.
Pokemon GO Spelunker’s Cove Field Research Encounters
Most Pokemon GO events have some field research tasks. Spelunker’s Cove isn’t any different. You can get the following Pokemon encounters while performing field research:
- Geodude or Shiny Geodude
- Nosepass or Shiny Nosepass
- Binacle or Shiny Binacle
- Carbink
- Crabrawler or Shiny Crabrawler
- Jangmo-o
To get a chance to catch these Pokemon, you must finish specific field research tasks. Finishing them will allow you to capture any of the mentioned Pokemon. The exact research tasks will be revealed to all of us very soon! So stay logged in for more information!
