Pokemon GO Pokemon 30th Anniversary Event Start Date and Time
The Pokemon GO Pokemon 30th Anniversary event kicked off on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and is available for six days. We have listed the start and the end times below.
- Start Date and Time: Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 10 AM local time
- End Date and Time: Monday, March 9, 2026, at 8 PM local time
This event was announced as part of Pokemon’s 30th Anniversary Celebration. Once the Pokemon GO event ends, you will no longer be able to take part and obtain the rewards.
Pokemon GO Pokemon 30th Anniversary Event Bonuses
Pokemon GO Pokemon 30th Anniversary event comes with some exclusive bonuses related to the GO Pass. Here’s a list of them:
- Reach Major Milestones on your GO Pass to unlock the following bonuses:
- Tier 1: 2× Catch Candy
- Tier 2: 2× Catch XP
- Upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe to get the following boosted bonuses:

You can reach milestones on your GO Pass by completing tasks related to it and gaining GO Points. The tasks are relatively easy and involve catching Pokemon, winning Pokemon GO raids, and so on.
Pokemon GO Pokemon 30th Anniversary Event Features
The Pokemon Go event is packed with exciting offerings and features for longtime players to celebrate Pokemon’s 30th Anniversary in the game. Here’s a full list of them all:
- GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe: Players will automatically receive Pokemon 30th Anniversary GO Pass when the event starts. You can progress in the GO Pass by collecting GO Points. However, it’s best that you farm points from March 7, as there will be no limit on the points you can earn. If needed, you can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe or the GO Pass Deluxe + 10 ranks for faster progression.
- Featured Pokemon and Rewards: You can rank up your GO Pass to encounter Mewtwo and other Pokemon from the Kanto region. However, after upgrading to GO Pass Deluxe, you can encounter Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno, while also earning Mewtwo candy XL, Rare Candies, and other valuable rewards.
- Ditto Change Up: There will be an increased Ditto Spawn in the wild.
- All Out event: The 30th Anniversary All Out event will take place from March 7 to March 9. During this time, you can encounter almost all the Kanto region Pokemon in the wild, including Legendaries. You can also hatch baby Pokemon from eggs and take on unique raid bosses.
