Free PlayStation Plus Monthly Games in September 2026

Sony has officially revealed the free PlayStation Plus games lineup for September 2026. Check out the new games coming to PS Plus this month below:

• Sniper Elite: Resistance
• MLB The Show 26
• Wobbly Life
• Chained Echoes

PlayStation Plus subscribers can start playing these four titles on September 1, 2026, and they will be available until October 5, 2026.

Sniper Elite: Resistance

• Release Date: January 30, 2025
• Platforms: PS5 Pro, PS5, and PS4

Rebellion Developments’ latest Sniper Elite title is coming to the PlayStation Plus monthly games catalog in September. Sniper Elite: Resistance’s main campaign is set alongside the main events of the Sniper Elite 5 game and takes players to France, where a hidden war is breaking out.

In line with the other Sniper Elite titles, you can look forward to experiencing the classic tactical third-person combat primarily featuring deep stealth and sniping mechanics. It is a PS5 Pro-enhanced game, so Pro owners can get a complete experience of the game’s fidelity.

Moreover, the new Sniper Elite game’s campaign features a co-op mode. Apart from the main story, players can play Axis Invasion mode, Competitive Battles (16 players), and Survival mode.

MLB The Show 26

• Release Date: March 17, 2026
• Platform: PS5 and PS5 Pro

MLB The Show games are to baseball fans what EA FC games are to football fans. MLB The Show 26 was released in March this year and is now being added to the PlayStation Plus catalog after just five months. The latest MLB improves on the foundation of its predecessors and offers the most realistic and immersive baseball experience yet.

Wobbly Life

• Release Date: September 19, 2025
• Platforms: PS4 and PS5

Wobbly Life was one of the highly-rated Friendslop games of 2025, and now it is available to play for free via a PS Plus subscription. Players can experience the Wobbly world in local co-op mode or with their friends online.

This game is jam-packed with many fun activities to do, and players can use the cash (in-game reward) to collect clothes, vehicles, and even real estate. It’s easily one of the best games to play with friends in 2026.

Chained Echoes

• Release Date: December 8. 2022
• Platforms: PS4 and PS5

Chained Echoes is a JRPG inspired by the all-time greats, including Chrono Trigger. Thus, the game features nostalgic 16-bit visuals. In case you didn’t know, Chained Echoes features turn-based combat like Persona 4 Revival.

How to Claim Free PS Plus Games

Before claiming the latest PlayStation Plus monthly games, make sure you have an active subscription – no matter the tier.

Now, follow these steps to add the titles to your library:

• On your PS5’s home screen, hold down the left d-pad button to go to the PlayStation Plus tab.
• From here, go into the ‘Monthly Games’ section.
• Click on the game you’d like to claim, and select ‘Add to Library.’
