In the latest episode, we see that Rick Flag Sr. is desperate to find Peacemaker and his friends. However, they are nowhere to be seen since they went into a different dimension. Rick Flag figures this out and seeks help from the one person who is an expert in the Pocket Dimension, Lex Luthor. In Peacemaker Season 2, Lex Luthor cameos with a cane in prison, serving a 265-year prison sentence.
Rick Flag tells Lex that if he asks him to find the exact location of the Pocket Dimension, Lex will be shifted to another prison. Rick Flag promises Luthor that he will get him transferred to a human prison because Lex hates being in a metahuman prison.
Lex Luthor agrees to help Flag and create a device that can pinpoint the location of the portal used to travel to the alternative dimension. Now, since it has been mentioned before that episodes 6-8 of season 2 will be important to the future of the DCU, this cameo seems the first of many.
