Oshi no Ko Season 2 Release Window Revealed
The Oshi no Ko anime adapted the manga until The First Concert arc (40 chapters) for its debut run of 11 episodes. The first season ended in Jun 2023. This anime’s massive success also led to an Oshi no Ko live-action adaptation but fans were waiting patiently for the second season’s announcement.
Not anymore, as Oshi no Ko Season 2 was announced at the Anime Japan 2024 event today. The news arrived with a new teaser and key visual featuring some new characters and voice actors. In addition to this, the staff revealed that Oshi no Ko season 2 is scheduled to be released in July 2024.
Keep in mind that the manga is still ongoing. hence, we believe the production studio will adopt the same route as season 1 and probably adapt the following arcs: 2.5D Stage Play arc (chapters 41-66) and Private arc (chapters 67-80) as 11-12 episodes in Season 2.
Oshi no Ko Season 2: New Characters Unveiled
A new set of characters and their voice actors were revealed along with the Season 2 announcement at the event. They are:
- Daiki Himekawa by Koki Uchiyama
- Sakuya Kamoshida by Yusuke Kobayashi
- Meruto Narushima by Seiji Maeda
