When Imu arrived on Elbaf (in Gunko’s body), they turned the homeland of giants upside down with the Domi Reversi ability. On the other hand, St. Killingham let nightmares become reality and roam the lands. So, when the Elbaf nation was in turmoil, Loki began to tell his backstory of what really happened to his father in chapter 1152. It began with King Harald’s origins, then Rocks surprisingly became the focal point of the flashback, followed by the God Valley incident. At last, Loki has finally wrapped up his flashback by retelling the events of his father’s death in One Piece chapter 1171.

Loki Concludes His Backstory After Six Months

Could you believe that we spent around six months learning history in Loki’s flashback? We neither saw our rubber hero nor any of the Straw Hats for the latter half of 2025. Now, after six-long months, Loki‘s flashback has come to an end, where the prince finally told the truth about why he had to kill his father, King Harald.

However, the flashback came to a sudden halt as we never got to see Loki’s pirate days, where he swore to destroy the World Government with his new Devil Fruit powers. Also, Oda never dived into the time when Loki proposed to Lola and got rejected. So the picture of Loki’s life isn’t complete yet. When Scopper Gaban asked whether he could fill in the details about the Holy Knights and World Government, thank god, Hajrudin and the others said no. Otherwise, who knows, we would have another six-month-long flashback.

Nevertheless, fans are in joy right now as we get to our captain after more than half a year. Now, in the modern day, Hajrudin freed his brother from the shackles and asked him to lend him a hand in fighting against the monsters together. Just like Luffy, we are also on cloud nine to see Loki back in action with his hammer, Ragnir.

As a treat to returning to the current timeline, Loki did unleash the icy powers (based on Niflheim) of his hammer against the Draugr nightmare in the final panel of One Piece chapter 1171. At this rate, Loki is already one of the most powerful characters next to Luffy in Elbaf. So, we are eagerly waiting to see them fighting against Imu’s demonic army in the upcoming chapters. In the meantime, how much would you rate Loki’s flashback? It’s a 10/10 in my book. Let me know your rating in the comments below.
