Vegapunk ‘Stella’ Will Be Revived With Another Copy
Everything about Dr. Vegapunk’s character and his sacrifice in the end felt right in the Egghead arc. However, the author must have other plans for him as he has confirmed that Vegapunk’s main body, Stella, will be resurrected using a perfect copy.
Yes, Dr. Vegapunk created a perfect copy of himself, unlike other satellites he created. The old man wanted to visit the Elbaf island to get knowledge from the books saved from Ohara. But this was when he was working for the World Government and the organization always kept a tab on him.
Hence, the smartest man in the world decided to recreate himself, a body double, that he used to secretly visit the homeland of the Giants almost 20 years ago. After this incident, Stella boxed up his body double and kept it as a backup for use in a dire situation.
In the end, his plan finally paid off as Lilith made sure to grab the body double as they fled from Egghead. Lilith now plans to utilize this copy to rebirth our old genius.
Lilith mentioned that she aims to build a new laboratory at Egghead to carry out her master plan of bringing the main body, Stella, back to this world. Moreover, the Vegapunks are finally free from the World Government. thus, Lilith promised she would help restore Bartholomew Kuma to his normal self.
The deaths in Egghead may have seemed like a nightmare for the readers at first, but Oda has been planning for a happy ending for the main stars of the arc all along.
I’m still on the fence about bringing back Stella, the main body of Dr. Vegapunk, though. But, I’m also excited to see the fusion of satellites to learn about the new developments. The Punk Records has already been saved, and now, Vegapunk along with his satellites can work toward their dream without any hindrances.
