Joachim Trier’s latest comedy-drama, Sentimental Value, is one of his best works. Recently, it deservedly won the Best International Feature at the 2026 Oscars. Sentimental Values is the tale of two sisters, Nora (Renate Reinsve) and Agnes (Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas), who reunite with their long-estranged father (Stellan Skarsgard).
The whole cast of Sentimental Value, including Elle Fanning, delivers extraordinary performances in this sweeping drama where the sisters try to reconnect with their father after years. Joachim Trier continues to craft stellar emotional dramas and made history at the Oscars as the first Norwegian movie to win an Oscar. Finally, Sentimental Value arrives on Disney+ and Hulu streaming platforms this week on March 23, 2026, and it is a must-watch.

Bi Gan, the experimental filmmaker from China, garnered the attention of cinephiles worldwide with his surreal fantasy movies. I’ve been waiting with bated breath to stream the Resurrection as it didn’t release here, and it is finally available to stream on The Criterion Channel starting March 24, 2026.
If you are in the mood for an atmospheric and dreamlike movie, Bi Gan’s latest sci-fi psychological drama will certainly leave a mark on you. Resurrection takes place in a dystopian timeline where society has agreed to give up the ability to dream in exchange for immortality. However, some exceptions continue to dream! So, if this premise sounds interesting to you, make sure to give a shot to Bi Gan’s Resurrection this week.
Anaconda
- Streaming On: Netflix
- Streaming Date: March 25, 2026
The original Anaconda movies used to be nightmare fuel during our childhoods, but this time, Jack Black and Paul Rudd have teamed up to make a chaotic comedy out of it. Griff (Paul Rudd) and Doug (Jack Black )’s favorite movie of all time is Anaconda, and they travel to the deadly Amazon forest to reboot their favorite movie with their friends, who share a midlife crisis.
What starts as a fun dream soon turns into a nightmare when the mythical anaconda begins to hunt them down, just like in the movies. While Anaconda didn’t become a blockbuster like Jack Black’s A Minecraft Movie (review), it is still a fun original campy comedy starring big stars. So, stream Anaconda if you wish to erase your memories of nightmares about Anaconda and turn it into a memory of a hilarious ride.
Pretty Lethal
- Streaming On: Prime Video
- Streaming Date: March 25, 2026
Prime Video is coming with an action-packed thriller starring Uma Thurman, alongside Iris Apatow, Lana Condor, Millicent Simmonds, Avantika, Maddie Ziegler, Michael Culkin, and Lydia Leonard. When a group of ballerinas en route to a competition get stranded in a forest, they find an inn owned by Devora Kasimer (Uma Thurman) and decide to stay the rest of the night.
However, their night takes a drastic turn when the creepy inn they settled in is full of people who want to take them down. Thus, the ballerinas team up and utilize their ballerina skills to fight their foes. This is a very Ready or Not coded bloody thriller, so find out if the group survives the day against all odds on Prime Video this week.
Primate
- Streaming On: Paramount+
- Streaming Date: March 25, 2026
Johannes Roberts’s Primate was one of the most celebrated horror movies of 2025. It’s not a ghost or a monster that makes this movie a nerve-wracking experience, but a family pet chimpanzee. The movie follows the lives of Lucy and her friends who return to their home in Hawaii for vacation.
However, their tropical vacation becomes a nightmare when their adopted chimpanzee catches rabies and starts murdering people. Now, Lucy has to survive against her family pet and make it out alive with her friends somehow. Primate is bloody, ruthless, and outright terrifying! It is easily a must-watch for all the survival horror fans out there.
Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice
- Streaming On: Disney+ and Hulu
- Streaming Date: March 27, 2026
Recently, in the SXSW film festival, BenDavid Grabinski’s action-comedy Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice received positive reviews from the fans. What’s special about this movie is that it is an action-comedy with a time-travel twist. The official plot of Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice is as follows: two gangsters and the woman they love, trying to survive the most dangerous night of their lives. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s one wild ingredient added to the mix: a time machine.
Vince Vaughn, the comedy legend, plays a dual role in Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice. Based on the early reviews, Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice seems like a promising comedy. In addition to Vince, James Marsden, Eiza González, Jimmy Tatro, Keith David, Emily Hampshire, Arturo Castro, Lewis Tan, and Ben Schwartz are set to entertain this week in this time-travel comedy.
And that’s a wrap to our list of the best new movies arriving on the popular streaming platforms in the final week of March. Compared to the first three weeks of March, this week is pretty good, with six most-anticipated titles heading to streaming services. You can now watch all of them swiftly without overloading your watchlist.
