Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 is here, and it has brought along a mini-Valentine’s celebration in the form of the Wedding Wishes for Mr. & Mrs. X event. Centered around Gambit and Rogue’s marriage, the event comes with wedding-themed cosmetics, including legendary skins for both characters. It also introduces a balloon cost system, which is sort of like spinning the roulette wheel and hoping that the spoke is in your favor.

Marvel Rivals Wedding Wishes For Mr. & Mrs. X Event Explained

As mentioned at the start, the Marvel Rivals Wedding Wishes event is all about Rogue and Gambit’s marriage, and features cosmetics for both characters. However, instead of featuring one event pass that grants access to all premium rewards, it serves up a balloon popping system. On the event screen, you’ll find a total of eight balloons, all of which contain a randomly-selected item from a confirmed set of rewards. Each pop costs an increasing amount of Units in this fashion:

• Ballon 1: 100 Units
• Ballon 2: 200 Units
• Ballon 3: 300 Units
• And so on…

To get every single reward, you’ll require 3000 Units. However, if you manage to get the Mr. X and Mrs. X legendary costumes on your second, or even first pop, every other reward will unlock instantly. So in theory, if you get the legendary costumes on your first go, the entire Wedding Wishes event pass will cost you just 100 Units. It’s a high-risk, high-reward affair that’s certainly worth trying out. We highly recommend stocking up on free Units to help with the grind.

How to Get Rogue and Gambit Wedding Skins in Marvel Rivals

To get the Mr. X and Mrs. X legendary skins for Gambit and Rogue, you’ll simply need to pop balloons in the Wedding Wishes event. There are a total of eight balloons, and both costumes will be packaged together in one of them. If you’re lucky, the skins will be present in your first four balloons. If not, it won’t cost more than 3000 Units to get the Rogue and Gambit Wedding skins.
