Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood, looks all set to join the Marvel Rivals roster. After being teased in the Infinity comics line, the character has now received an easter egg within the game itself. Despite this, the devs are still withholding official information about the hero’s release date, kit, and more. The Hood will likely join Marvel Rivals in Season 8, which will arrive sometime in May 2026. Characters teased via maps and lore drops are rarely added to the game immediately. For example, both Blade and Deadpool were teased via lore mentions for months before NetEase finally added them to the Marvel Rivals roster.

The Hood will almost certainly follow this pattern, especially since Black Cat has already been confirmed as the Season 7.5 hero. As for the teasers in question, Parker Robbins was first hinted at on the cover of Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic #43. On the cover, you can spot The Hood’s silhouette reflected on the ground.

A more direct tease was showcased in the Lower Manhattan map trailer, where The Hood’s unmistakable cape was on full display. Moreover, the fan-favorite villain has been on the Marvel Rivals leaked characters list for ages, as leakers datamined his potential kit back in early 2025.

According to leaks, The Hood will be a Vanguard in Marvel Rivals. At the heart of his kit will be Dual Guns that can be fired in rapid succession. However, the pistols will also be restricted by some sort of overheat mechanic. Additionally, the character could feature some type of aerial movement, which lines up with his powers from the comics.

Speaking of the comics, The Hood’s demon form could also be carried over into the game. This potential ability will see him channel the power of his mystical cloak to gain a significant power buff. Here’s a list of all the leaked abilities for The Hood in Marvel Rivals:
