  • The new season is rumored to bring Angela as the new hero.

Marvel Rivals Season 3.5 is in its final leg, as the latest update is set to wrap the fight between Phoenix and Knull, who largely led the last two seasons thematically. As heroes emerged victorious against Knull and his forces on Klyntar, the stage is set for a brand new season to arrive as threats continue to emerge for the heroes.

As the ongoing Chrono Storm event continues to grant players Chrono Tokens at an accelerated rate to finish their Battle Pass quickly, Season 4 is on the horizon, and leaks have already started to surface online. Here, we break down every leak and speculation for the upcoming Marvel Rivals Season 4 and what theme it will bring next for fans to further enrich the Marvel storyline.

Marvel Rivals Season 4 Release Date

Marvel Rivals Season 4 is set to release on September 12, 2025, as the ongoing Chrono Storm event, and the Luxury Pass is also set to conclude the same day. The update will be a huge patch, which will be preceded by a 3-4 hour downtime.

Players can expect the downtime to begin at 12 AM UTC and servers to come back online at approximately 3 PM UTC on the same day. Since it’s a new season, the update’s file size will be significantly larger, with the previous patches spanning as large as 35 GB.

Marvel Rivals Season 4 Theme and Hero Leaks

According to leaks, the hero headlining Marvel Rivals Season 4 is the Asgardian Goddess, Angela. She is the firstborn of Odin and Freyja in the comics and was reborn as an Angel, hence her name.

She will join the new season, possibly as a Melee-based hero (finally a Vanguard, huh), and will have a flying-based mechanic. She’ll wield a bow and a spear for her attacks, but her abilities and roles are not yet leaked or officially announced by NetEase.

Furthermore, Season 4 will be set in the K’un L’un map, which is Iron Fist’s training grounds, and will finally make its way to the game. However, another map called Maveth was also teased in the newly released Marvel Rivals Artbook, but fans speculate it will be reserved for a special game mode coming in Season 4.

As for the theme, the Battle Pass’ theme is leaked to be “Fruit of Immortality” and will feature skins like a Mecha Moon Knight, Dark Phoenix, a Red Loki skin with feathers, and a Wasteland-themed Ultron.

The update will also bring two new team-ups, one with Human Torch, Black Panther, and Psylocke joining hands, and on the other side, Venom and Captain America bonding together.

To add to the excitement, the hero for Season 4.5 has also been leaked, and it’s the devil of Hell’s Kitchen, Daredevil. In the past month, voice lines for Daredevil and Deadpool have been leaked; however, it’s Daredevil that has Deadpool now beat for the release and will be the first to join the roster.

While this isn’t the confirmed info by NetEase, dataminers suggest fans take it with a grain of salt until things are announced officially.
