Devil Dinosaur has escaped from the Collector’s museum and is on the way to Alchemax HQ to save his best friend, Moon Girl. He may seem like an adorable T. Rex, but his superhuman levels of strength, lethal talons, and bone-crushing jaws make him a Prehistoric Powerhouse and one of the best Vanguards we have in the game.

His entire abilities kit has been designed around T.Rex’s dangerous features. For starters, his primary attack, Primal Bite, is biting enemies, which deals damage and applies a bleed effect that continuously depletes enemy health bars.

He can shoot energy beams out of his mouth, which not only applies a bleed effect but also slows down the enemies. Dealing damage and inflicting bleed effect automatically gives him bonus health as it’s his passive. In addition, he gets reduced damage from critical hits, is immune to launch-up, and knocks back like The Thing. And lastly, enemies and allies can only produce a small amount of Ultimate Ability Energy when damaging or healing him.

Devil Dinosaur is a hybrid of Brawler and Anchor tanks due to his unique set of abilities in Marvel Rivals Season 8. So, as a Devil Dinosaur, your goal is to hurt and tear apart the enemy frontline while also protecting your teammates with defensive capabilities. Do not think of Devil Dino as a dive tank like Venom. While he needs to be aggressive and can leap into the backline, he will be buried deep in the ground in minutes without any necessary heals.

Once the match commences, lead the charge and begin inflicting the bleed effect on as many enemies in the front line. One of the best moves of Devil Dino is to grab the bleeding enemy with his jaws and throw them back into ally territory. Just like Winter Soldier’s 180-degree hook, you can grab enemies and bring them to your backline, so that your team members can lend a hand in quickly eliminating the enemy tank.

In this way, you can clear the enemy’s front line and move on to deal with the remaining Duelists and Strategists next, which will be much easier to do with their tanks gone. So take control of your surrounding area, stay on the side of your healers, and if any flyers keep bugging you, unleash your Impact Beam (which has a refill bar). • Time your Buddy Barrier: Do not keep spamming your buddy barrier shield like a Doctor Strange main. Instead, use it wisely when you need to shield yourself from an Iron Man ult or a Mantis trying to make you fall asleep. Since this shield is dome-shaped, it offers better protection overall.
• Use your Melee: If you get caught between two enemies, front and back. You can use your primary fire and melee at the same time. Basically, you can bite the enemy in front of you and use your long tail to sweep the enemy behind you. Not everyone knows that you can do both attacks at the same time.
