Knives Out 3 is the much-awaited third installment of the popular film franchise. The first two films were big hits, so it didn’t take a while for the creators to announce the third one. While the third movie will bring back Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc, we will also get to meet some new faces. We have discussed who will appear in the final film and where we have seen them before in this Knives Out 3 cast guide.
1. Mila Kunis
Gorgeous American actress Mila Kunis will be one of the culprits in Knives Out 3. Her acting career started with The 70s Show, which featured her as Jackie Burkhart. Later, in 1999, she lent her voice to a character for the animated series Family Guy. Furthermore, Mila Kunis is better recognized for her roles in Forgetting Sara Marshall and Black Swan, released in 2008 and 2010, respectively. She is an amazing actress, and it would be a great experience to see her in Knives Out 3.
2. Josh Brolin
Another big revelation about Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery came out in the form of Josh Brolin’s involvement in the project. The actor is mainly recognized for portraying the Marvel villain Thanos and Cable in Deadpool 2. The character that will be played by Josh Brolin in the final movie of the franchise is yet to be unveiled, but we hope to see him in a role that will be remembered for years to come.
3. Glenn Close
Glenn Close also came as a surprise to every fan of the Knives Out franchise. Even though nothing about her character has been revealed yet, we expect to see the eight-time Oscar-winning actress in a significant role in the threequel. Close has received many accolades for her good work in Hollywood. Some of her critically acclaimed performances were seen in Barnum in 1980, The World According To Garp in 1982, and The Wife in 2017.
4. Daniel Craig
No Knives Out movie can be complete without the presence of the main guy, Daniel Craig. The actor will reprise his role as Detective Benoit Blanc. We don’t have the plot details of the threequel for the time being, but it’s safe to assume that the detective will be back with a bang and solve the murder mysteries with his intellect.
5. Andrew Scott
Andrew Scott recently won the hearts of the cinephiles by appearing as the smart con man Tom Ripley in the black and white Netflix series Ripley. Now, he is all set to surprise us by appearing in one of the most celebrated murder Mysteries, Wake Up Dead Man. Andrew Scott’s character has been kept a secret, just like other new characters on this list.
6. Cailee Spaeny
The 25-year-old Cailee Spaeny has been signed for the massive project despite only appearing in a handful of movies. She began her career with a short film, Counting to 1000, in 2016. However, it wasn’t until 2018 that her hard work was recognised on a big scale. She grabbed attention by appearing in 2018’s Pacific Rim Uprising. Now, it’s to be seen how she will make this opportunity a turning point in her acting career.
7. Josh O’Connor
The British actor Josh O’Connor is not an unfamiliar face as we have seen him in supporting roles in many renowned projects, i.e. Peaky Blinders and Doctor Who. In 2017, he got an opportunity to star in the lead role in God’s Own Country, which was released in 2017. Now, let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope we see him in a prominent role, not a supporting one.
8. Jeremy Renner
2023 has been harsh on the Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner as he has been through a life-threatening accident. Well, it seems things are going well with him as the actor is all set to appear in the new project. Previously, the star worked in a crime mystery in 2021, titled Mayor of Kingstown, and now it’s time for us to witness him in another murder mystery film.
9. Kerry Washington
The Primetime Emmy Award Winner Kerry Washington has been nominated for several awards over the years. She has also won several accolades, including the President’s Award and NAACP Image Awards. Before being cast in Knives Out, we saw her appearing in some major projects, including Fantastic Four films released in 2005 and 2007.
10. Daryl McCormack
Like Josh O’Conner, Daryl McCormack has also been a part of the Peaky Blinders’ Universe. The Irish actor has worked in a crime thriller titled ‘The Woman in the Wall’ before grabbing the role in Knives Out 3. Let’s see what the actor will offer in the upcoming film.
