JJK Modulo Chapter 18 Highlights Dabura’s Inner Conflict
Since the beginning, Dabura hasn’t shown his true strength against Mahoraga. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 18 reveals through a flashback that Dabura never truly fought anyone in his entire life. Well, he did fight some enemies, but to be clear, he is so powerful that he didn’t have to actually fight with his full might. That’s because he never encountered an opponent as tough as Mahoraga. This realization shatters Dabura, leading him to believe his life now means nothing. But then, he decides to actually try fighting to protect his people from annihilation.
Coming back to reality, Dabura decides to show the part of his strength that his body can’t handle. First, he stops Mahoraga’s attack with his single hand, and then, he starts moving at the speed of light without worrying about the consequences. Of course, his body can’t handle moving at the speed of light, but even then, he vows to use this power to defeat this enemy.
On the other side, Tsurugi has overwhelmed Maru in their clash after getting hands on the ring that contains the will of Rika. He is basically fused with Rika now; the opponent has no chance of winning. He also uses his cursed technique on Tsurugi, but it does him no good either. The stakes of the fights are finally getting higher, so it would be thrilling to see how the events unfold in Chapter 19.
