Who Is Battle Beast in Invincible and How Strong Is He?
Thokk who is more popularly known around space as Battle Beast is an extraterrestrial warrior in Invincible comics. Remember when Tai Lung (from Kung Fu Panda) said, “Finally! A Worthy Opponent! Our Battle Will Be Legendary!” This became an iconic meme of our times. Battle Beast’s character is pretty much based on this dialogue.
He is a fearsome warrior who travels across different realms in space in search of an extraordinary battle against a mighty foe. He is actively seeking a legendary fight and is even ready to lose his life in glory during their clash.
In comics, Battle Beast is massively powerful and he is one of the few characters who can beat Viltrumites with his bare hands.
Who Is the Voice Actor Playing Battle Beast in Invincible?
Battle Beast has a gritty voice as he is more of a ferocious beast and humanoid creature in the story. If you are wondering who is the voice actor of Battle Beast, he is voiced by none other than Michael Dorn, the popular Lieutenant Worf from the Star Trek franchise. Apart from acting, Michael has lent his voice to characters from numerous mediums such as movies, TV shows, and even video games. Battle Beast’s Role in Invincible
Battle Beast debuted in Invincible’s first season when the crime lord Machine Head brought him to Earth to protect him from Invincible. In return, he was promised an exceptional battle against worthy opponents such as Invincible and the Guardians of the Globes. Everyone knows what happened next as Battle Beast outclassed the Earth’s superheroes and annihilated them completely in the end.
As he was dissatisfied with this battle, he immediately left the space to continue his quest of finding a formidable opponent. During this time he wreaked more havoc in space which got the attention of the Viltrumites. Then he was arrested and imprisoned in a prison where Omni-Man and Allen the Alien were kept.
When Allen was saving Nolan Grayson from his execution, he broke the high-security cell of Battle Beast to set the beast free. The alien promised him a worthy battle against two Viltrumites who were the executioners of Omni-Man. He was last seen crushing a Viltrumite in open space and will mark his return to the story again.
