HP EliteBook and HP Zbook Featured

HP has lately been expanding its laptop range in India at a good pace, particularly in the Spectre, Envy and Omen series. While the company has already released the latest HP Spectre x360 in India, it had also announced updated EliteBook laptops and ZBook mobile workstations. Now, these notebooks are coming to India with slight changes in hardware for the Indian market.

HP Elitebook Series

HP has introduced three new devices in its EliteBook series and two new devices in the ZBook series in India. HP “EliteBook 830” G5, “EliteBook 840” G5, “EliteBook 850” G5 are available at a starting price of Rs 97,000, Rs 95,000 and Rs 97,000, respectively, while both HP “Zbook 14U” and HP “Zbook 15U” will be available in April at a starting price of Rs 97,000.

“The game has changed and standard issued corporate devices of the past no longer meet the needs of the workforce of the future, particularly among gen x to gen z professionals,” – Vickram Bedi, Senior Director, Personal Systems, HP Inc. India

The HP “EliteBook 800” series is the first of the company’s many business notebooks to feature 8th-generation Intel Core vPro processors, with up to 15 hours of battery life HP “Fast Charge” to charge 50 percent of battery in 30 minutes.

HP Zbook Series

On the other hand, the HP ZBook 14U and 15U mobile workstations feature HP’s “Sure View” screens for enhanced privacy and are the world’s first mobile workstations with an integrated privacy screen.

According to HP, the new ZBook 14u is the “world’s thinnest workstation” at 17.9mm thick. It is about 28-percent thinner than previous generation notebooks. You can also configure the ZBooks with a 4k display. Both the EliteBook and ZBook notebook line-ups are geared towards professional users. In fact, HP has also fitted all these new machines with a suite of security features like Windows Hello and the webcam cover mentioned earlier.

Apart from that, both the mobile workstations feature 8th-generation Intel Core Quad-Core Processors with vPro technology and AMD Radeon Pro graphics for fast and reliable performance. While the devices are certainly priced on the higher end, do pack in some serious hardware that is packed inside a beautiful signature HP package.
