The tool is mainly used to locate objects or people during missions and is very easy to use. Still, new players often face trouble using the tools in Wuthering Waves, so here is a quick guide on how to unlock and use the Sensor in Wuthering Waves.

How to Unlock the Sensor in Wuthering Waves

The sensor is first needed in the early story mission of Wuthering Waves where the Rover decides to help Jianxin to find the missing person Zhiyuan outside of Jinzhou city. You do not need to do anything special to unlock the sensor in Wuthering Waves.

Simply, play the early story mission until you reach Jinzhou city and get the Grappling tutorial. After that, the sensor, levitator, and grappling hook will be unlocked for your character.

How to Use Wuthering Waves Sensor

Using the Sensor is pretty simple. First, you need to swap the tool in the tool wheel and then use the Tool key to activate it. To select the Sensor tool, here is what you need to do:

  • For PC: Press and hold the Tab key to open the Tool wheel. Select the Sensor.
  • For Mobile: Press and hold the tool button, just above the Normal attack button, to open the Tool wheel. Now select the Sensor.

Once you have selected the Sensor tool in Wuthering Waves, press the Tool key (“T” for PC and the button above the Normal Attack button for Mobile) near the area and you will see virtual images of the thing you are tracking appear on your screen. Follow the images to reach the next destination.
