Uninstall Facebook on Android

You can uninstall Facebook and be done with the app from within your Android’s home screen Here’s how it goes:

1. To uninstall, long-press the Facebook icon from the home screen.
2. Then press the i icon to go to the App info screen.
3. Here, tap on Uninstall.
4. In the confirmation pop-up, select OK.

Some phones will have the Facebook app pre-installed, so you may not see the Uninstall option on these devices. In such cases, you can tap on Disable instead. This will essentially stop the app from working, and hide it from your phone till you enable it again.

Uninstall Facebook on iPhone

iPhone users can remove the Facebook app in a similar fashion, either directly from the home screen or the App Library. Here’s how to do it.

1. Long-press the Facebook icon till a pop-up menu appears.
2. Tap on Remove App.
3. Next, select Delete App to uninstall Facebook from your device.
4. Tap on Delete again to confirm your action.
