Tokyo Revengers Season 1
Tokyo Revengers Season 1 kicks off in the present timeline, where we meet Takemichi Hanagaki, who finds out that the Tokyo Manji Gang has killed his middle school girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana. Alongside Hinata’s brother, Naoto, Takemichi keeps jumping between the past and the present timeline to set things right and prevent his former girlfriend’s murder. Takemichi also joins Toman, gains the trust of its current leader, Mikey, and slowly moves towards his goal of creating a peaceful future.
Tokyo Revengers Season 2
Tokyo Revengers Season 2, aka. Christmas Showdown Arc starts immediately after the Bloody Halloween events of Season 1. In this season, we get to meet the Black Dragon gang, whose arrival shifts the tone of the anime to a darker level. Takemichi travels back in time again, this time to stop Toman from turning dark in the future. He attempts to stop Hakkai Shiba from killing his abusive brother Taiju, after realizing that this murder eventually pushes Toman to choose a dark path, leading to Hinata’s killing.
Tokyo Revengers Season 3
This season adapts the darkest arc of the manga: Tenjiku Arc. Toman has already gotten worse, and after going back in time, Takemichi figures out that the powerful Yokohama gang, Tenjiku, is the wrongdoer. The protagonist also discovers that Kisaki is the mastermind, operating from the shadows. Toman and Tenjiku are drawn into a brutal war after the latter starts targeting the members of the former one by one. Even after discovering that the Tenjiku gang is much more powerful, Takemichi becomes the anchor, holding the Toman gang together and motivating the members to give their best in the fight.
Tokyo Revengers Season 4
Following the Tenjiku Arc, believing that everything is fine now, Takemichi returns to the future, only to encounter another dangerous task. This time, there is no Toman, but that doesn’t mean the world is at peace now. A new criminal organization rises, led by Mikey. Takemichi never expected to meet this version of Mikey, who has grown darker and more violent than before. So, this time, Takemichi must travel back in time for the most complicated mission of his life. Tokyo Revengers Season 4 is all set to cover the manga’s final arcs, serving as the anime’s final season.
