The Taskbar on Windows 11 is quite useful and feature-rich, but Mac users who switch to Windows still prefer having a menu bar on top of the screen. Many users also want to make Windows 11 look like macOS to enjoy a cleaner and more visually appealing look. So, in this tutorial, I have added two simple methods to get a macOS-like menu bar on Windows 11. You can choose from various themes to mimic the macOS interface on your Windows PC.

Add a macOS-Like Menu Bar on Windows 11 Using Droptop Four

To get a macOS-like menu bar on Windows 11, you need to install a Rainmeter skin called Droptop Four. It’s an excellent skin that adds a menu bar to Windows 11 with various functionalities. You can customize it, make the menu bar transparent, and add more apps and tools to the menu bar. Here is how to get started.

  • First, download and install the Rainmeter app (Free) on your Windows PC.
  • Next, download the Droptop Four skin for Rainmeter (Free). It’s a 95MB file in RMSKIN file format.
  • Now, double-click on the Droptop Four skin and click on Install.

Get macOS-Like Menu Bar and Tiling Support on Windows 11 with GlazeWM

GlazeWM (GitHub) is a tiling window manager, but it also brings a menu bar to Windows 11 using its Zebar tool. Zebar is a cross-platform tool for desktop widgets and you can customize it based on your preferences. With GlazeWM and Zebar, you can boost your productivity by multiple folds, and here is how to use it.

  • Launch the Terminal or CMD and run the below command to quickly install GlazeWM along with Zebar.

So, this is how you can get a macOS-like menu bar on Windows 11. I prefer Droptop Four since it’s user-friendly and allows you to customize the menu bar on your PC extensively. Bear in mind that it’s also resource-intensive, much like the heavy Rainmeter skins.

Apart from that, you can use GlazeWM if you want advanced window tiling and a menu bar at the top to navigate multiple workspaces quickly. You can check out Windhawk to fully customize the Start menu and Taskbar on Windows 11.
